Five years ago (HOLY SHIT FIVE YEARS AGO) I did a small series of pics; fanart of old msdos games from my childhood, but featuring my original characters. Now, since I got my good ol' pentium mmx- Windows 98 PC up and running again, and got myself a sweet CRT monitor; I kind of decided that it was about time I tried doing these thingies again. Also to take a small break from pokemon.

This game is Magic Carpet 2 : The Netherworlds, and I fucking love this game and it's such a shame that there's no good remake or sequels to it. I really like the dynamic of building a castle, killing monsters and possessing mana and all that shit. So what if some spells are useless or don't even work at all as intended due to deadlines and rushed programmings; this friggin game rocks.

And that's the ghastgirl by the way, hope you didn't forget about her hhaha

I went and tried thumbnailing again for this pic. Spent about one hour on the sketch , tried again to do some composition and that crap. Emphasis on tried hhaha, the sketch looks much more dynamic but I was too lazy to tweak the finished thing any further
