Ok, so after 3 years I decided to give this a shot again. I'm really happy with my improvement.These are all what I would end up drawing at the respective times if given the prompt "Red dragon", without any reference.
So yeah, practice is key.

Oh wow that's a great idea! Sometimes I look at other's art and im like wow im never gonna be that good. This is a good remindee everybody can improve given practice. I'll have to try this. Very nice!
