Stonware scuptural portrait, done for my very first ever ceramics assignment (the first time I'd ever worked with clay). Handbuilt with an iron oxide lowfire underglaze to give him that terracotta look. He's a bit androgynous, with his hairbow and coy smile, becase I wanted him to be a little generic and mask-like.
