This profile page was added after doing ten pages of the comic, the class I took required that we do a cover, profile, & final page for each comic. So I did a profile for each character or object of interest in each volume. Jason Absorbensy is the main focus of the series, he is a cross between Spongebob & myself. Originally named SpongeJason LeGaultpants, I changed the name upon recommendation from my cartoonist teacher to avoid plagiarism. He was right, I could imagine still using the original name for the character. Groundhog and Spikey were thought up out of the blue, I feel they need a redesign as I feel they look too similar to one another. ORB Man is the company founder of the Orange Root Beer Company. He is a Polynesian man wearing a soda can mascot costume. He's based on a milk carton man from a series of "Got Milk?" commercials I saw as a kid. Plankton Keeper is a parody of Dagget Beaver from a certain episode of Angry Beavers. Waffle Wendy was based on a dream I had once about a motorcycle woman obsessed with waffles and motorcycles. I wasn't too comfortable on drawing women back then, so I apologize for her looking not as feminine. A redesign of her is needed.
