Against the wishes of the rest of the Jellicle clan, Izabella ran away with Anexie and came back two months later with a son and daughter...She is convinced the Anexie is Munkustrap son and not Macavity's...though in her mind it doesn't matter, he is who he is and nothing can change that...
The clan must decide if they want to except not only Anexie, but the new kittens into the clan...and they do. Demeter welcomes home her son and Munkustrap excepts him as his own son, whether he really is or not.
Now they and Jemima and Admetus can meet there new grandchildren, a boy (who resembles both Munkustrap and Admetus) named Dingo and a girl (who is the perfect blend of her parents) named Paige.
Thanks to his kittens Anexie finally gets what he always wanted, to be where he belongs, with his mother and real father.
But Macavity and Manicar won't let him and the kittens go so easily...
