Lancia Caelia, is a young mage from another world, coming to compete in the DSAA Inter-Middle competition. She is a few years older than Fera and ends up just barely losing to her in battle. They later learn they are, in fact, related. Distantly. Lancia is Brandon's third cousin, once removed. Her great-great grandparents and his great grandparents are the same people.
She is immediately welcomed in by everyone and soon becomes close friends with Fera and Jumbie. She later becomes Brandon's assistant and with her device Guinevere helps him, not necessarily properly, train recruits.
