Darkflame was always a deadbeat, and left her alone in the nursery as soon as she was old enough to eat solid food. By that point, her brother Lichenkit was already dead, and her father was trying his best to be a good den dad. At some point, Rainkit just was thankful that Falconfall was attempting to be a parent to her, instead of being like Darkflame and ignoring her existence. None the less, she was excited to leave the nursery and start a new chapter of her life.

Apprenticeship [6 - 12 Moons]

The newly named Rainpaw couldn't possibly wait to begin to dip her paws into the water of apprenticehood. And then she bumped into Cricketpaw. Immediately, she new that befriending this cat would a path to excitement, as opposed to one of boring work. They became fast friends, and she would soon discover another connection between them- their mentors being involved and all. And what better way to do it than to jump off with a bang. After watching the strange interaction between the cats called Kyle and Limo, patrols were se out, and she found herself alone in the chilly camp. She wasn't alone for long, however, because it wasn't long before she was whisked out of it via a huge snowy owl. She was dropped by the border with ThunderClan, where she ran into a peculiar warrior called Owlcrash. He was fascinated by the owl, who then showed her true colors as rather docile, and friendly to Rainpaw. The owl, now called Ghost, resides in a small treehouse built on the border by Owlcrash and Rainpaw.

She kept training as hard as possible, and she was soon rewarded. After the expedition into RiverClan territory, Duskstar was lauched from the territory by a spider-horse.... thing. she happened to be on the patrol that left to explore the ThunderClan border o try and find him. Catching onto his scent, Rainpaw was the one who found the broken body, and helped take him back to camp to heal. Due to her heroics, she was granted the rank of warrior a moon early, and became Rainwatcher.
