The cure to this venom is a mix between powdered Basalt and water. They keep some on themselves at all times, and have a fairly large store in their shop.

At the time, Cirrus was very uncomfortable about how forthcoming this customer was being, but ended up putting together the pieces of the puzzle.

Baby Dragonet > As a child, Cirrus lived in a poor orphanage in a small town between the Yellowjacket Hive and the Bumblebee Hive. How did they get here? A NightWing and a HiveWing had a one night stand; this led ultimately to their own conception. Their mother, a NightWing, was incapable of supporting the egg at the time and the child within, and determined the best course for the kid would be to give it to the orphanage. At least they got funds from the city. Once they hatched, they began to learn quite quickly.

Dragonet > They were taught some basics, they found themself largely dissatisfied with the meager education that the orphanage was able to provide. They were, however, grateful for that which was available to them. Then one day, after lessons had concluded, they found something shiny in the dirt. Fascinated by it, they dusted off the rock and brought it home. Later that day, they ran by the local blacksmith to see if the owner had any extra copper or splinters of wiring that he wouldn't need. To their joy, the blacksmith had a decent amount left over from their last order, and had always enjoyed watching the orphans grow up into their own individuals. He even gave them some tips on how best to trap the stone within the wires. Fashioning a very crude casing for the shiny rock, they tied it to a bit of rope to make themself a messy necklace that they wore for a long time.

Through their youth, they had been told that they were female; but over time that began to change. Cirrus started to realize that they didn’t really feel like they fit into the restriction of ‘female’, and started going by nonbinary pronouns around age 5.

Not too long after that, a traveler came into town. She was a rather pudgy MudWing, with a stern, but loving demeanor named Bayou. She was a jeweler, who had been in the trade for a long time. Cirrus quickly took an interest in her, finding themself spending a lot of time simply watching Bayou work. It didn't take long for the MudWing to notice the small HiveWing hybrid's intrest, which Bayou encouraged.

Young Adult > As they continued to grow, they wanted nothing more than to break away from the orphanage they found themself tied down to. To solidify their leaving, they officially asked to become Bayou's apprentice, since for years she had begun to become more of a parent to them. They were visibly happy when the MudWing accepted, (a rare occurance) and began to spend the majority of their day working with her.

One of the first things they learned to do as a new apprentice was searching for gems. They took torches down in caves and used pickaxes and and shovels to look for gems and sometimes veins of metal to trade with blacksmiths to melt down. and return to them for use in new pieces. Bayou also gave her scrolls to read about geography and mining techniques, which they have developed over the years.

Eventually though, it came time for bayou to leave the small savannah town, who had seemingly had it's fill of jewels. So, with everything packed up and ready to go, the pair left to Bumblebee Hive, to seek a brand new adventure. They eventually found themselves setting up shop on a bustling level, filled with dragons selling seafood, silk clothing, and much much more. It didn't take long for them to be noticed however, with some of the more wealthy patrons eyeing their stocks, and getting more inquiries abound embedding. Cirrus took a particularly keen interest in this, rather enjoying the idea of having some lovely opals over their eyes and chin (one of the more painful spots, they would discover). And after quite a long process, they were set there, and they would learn the art of inflicting this life mistake on others.

For a long time their lives went along like that, with they and Bayou making a strong stand for themselves in the Hive. Cirrus became satisfied with their work, and wondered if bayou would decide to move their business once again soon; however, it didn't quite turn out that way. In the back room of the store, where a fort of pillows, blankets, and rugs covered every corner Cirrus was embedding emeralds into the jawline of a dazzlingly orange SkyWing- the color combination was horrendous, but they weren't being paid to judge- when a new face appeared through the tent. A dark blue SeaWing with golden spectacles poked her head in, beckoning them to join her outside. Cirrus was curious- not curious enough to stop working though. In the time it took for them to look up to acknowledge the SeaWing, the SkyWing they'd been working on had flopped forlornly on a mound of pillows. With a sigh, they finished up the orange dragon, collected payment, and sent them on their way.

The SeaWing who awaited them, the found, was called Trench, and she was a member of the Alliance. It had seemed that bayou had been bragging about them and their studious nature. At first, Cirrus was dubious of the blue dragon's intentions when she began rattling off a spiel about a University on an island between Pyrrhia and Pantala. But they'd have been lying if they said a place dedicated to the pursuit of knowledge didn't sound amazing. With no true intentions of leaving their job, they expressed their interest. With giddy excitement, Trench flew away, and wouldn't return. After a few more weeks, a letter was dropped by a mail courier at their doorstep. To Cirrus's surprise, they had been accepted! Assigned to the Ruby Talon. For a few moments they were incredibly excited; getting to go to a university? Experience a whole new culture? ...But it also meant having to leave behind Bayou and the life they had. With sadness, they said a long goodbye to the MudWing who had taken them in so long ago, and left for the Isle Mezzo.

The island was huge, but they were directed to it's shining gem; the Crystal Castle, where they got a dorm room and met their new talonmates. They were so, so excited to begin this new chapter of their life.
