I did this OC drawings way back in 2008.

Mantis - can project psionic energy through his hands in a form of a scythes.

Tempest - Flight, Super strength and Durability.

Have you notice something about the power sets of some super tandem or partners or couples...especially on marvel comics. I don't know if did that on purpose but I just thought this must not be a coincidence.

It's like this, some superhero tandem's power set is one has to have some sort of durability. It's either that or some sort of force field. The other one has to have a powerful projectile or energy beam of some sort. In short one is a tank and the other is a damage dealer.

Here's an example:
Cyclops and Jean Grey (Couple) - Jean Grey can project a force field while Cyclops can fire optic blast.
Havok and Polaris (Couple) - Havok has plasma blast and Polaris has magnetic shield.
Cannonball and Sunspots (Best friends) - Sam has kinetic shield and Roberto has concussive blast of solar energy.
Juggernaut and black Tom (Partners) - Juggy has near invulnerability and Black tom can project energy through plant life.
Black Panther and Storm (couple)
Mr. Fantastic and Invisible woman (Couple)
Human torch and Thing (Best friends)
Iron man and War machine (Best friends)
Rusty and Skids (Couple)
Colossus and Magik (Siblings)
Firestar and Vindicator (Teammates)
...

The list goes on.

Now that you notice, you can add some hero tandems on your list.
