The thought of these two (Captain Amelia form Treasure Planet and Mirage from the Aladdin TV series) together sprang into my head shortly after coming across Mirage’s character. Don’t really support them as a pairing though.

I personelly hate ALL slash pairings.
I have nothing against gay people, some of my friends are gay, but I don't judge them by that.
I just don't like the idea of disney charters together with the ame sex, i guess its just something with the fact that I always dream disney love stories.

Anyhow, The picture it'self is wonderful! And, if i had to choose between the AmeliaXJane from tarzan apiring, and this one, this one in a heart beat.

Erm . . . I'm pretty sure that the episode is called 'In the Heat of the Fright' where Mirage makes her debut. Try that out.

Yeah. I like them. I think the only reason I have them is because I do everything disney everyday, and when i have my nightly cup of earl grey, I think about british people, then emma thompson, then Amelia, nanny MCPhee, and so on -shrugs-

I guess some people might think this is a bit... odd, but it doesn't change the fact that it's a lovely picture.
I'm not really sure what you meant with it but the way I see it they are just two good friends expressing how much they care for each other.

Well, I've definitely never noticed the resemblance - maybe because both stories came out with such a large gap in between no one remembered one while recalling the other. :/ Good spotting, though.
What did you use for the stars? White out?

Truthfully, I didn't even know about Mirage's character (or anything at all about the Aladdin series) until fairly recently, so I guess it would have been easier for me to spot the similarities when I did FINALLY decide to watch them.
And yes, it was white out that was used for the stars. That's why they look more like little blotches.
