Oh my dear lord I think this is one of the best ones you've produced yet.
Excellent mood and focus, and the choice of color was great. I love the subdued blue mixed against the very, very bright red. It reminds me of several films shot in a similar style. As for making it better? Well, as I said, it's one of your best. But, the larger one still seems to have some focusing problems on your face. It wasn't quite sharp enough, and the background could have been slightly more blurry. Try using a lower f/stop (probably 2.8 or 2.5 if you have it) with the macro function of your camera. If you can get a tripod for it, then it shouldn't be an issue.

This is pretty much kickass. Great emotion and great colors. red on blue is always a nice combo
btw, I really like this look. No idea how long you've been sporting the crazy red hair, but it looks great.
