The day was finally here and how her class could not come soon enough. She was not really the anxious kind but she was dying to enter the ring and try her best with her huge and angry bay. It was her very first time at this level and it would have been a lie to say that Tess was not worried at all, she was surely hoping to prove that she deserved her place and ride well enough for the class. And it's for that reason that the ex-Jokey went hunting for Sam - who had previously sejourned for a moment at MS - to request some last minute tuning while the Rising Star class was getting ready to start. After all he did help her before during his stay, and had already an idea of the general style they had; so some last posture check was defnitely only to Tess's advantage.

Of course she did not loose her chance to crack some bantering here and there, maybe as a coping mechanism for her febrile state but also for how much fun she was having joking around with Sam.
