Description The next Age of Monsters dossier. Pulp: Ruins of Atlantis. Written and art directed by James Conlon.

Giant Crab
Size: 3 meters leg span
Type: Arthropod
While called a giant grab, these benthic arthropods are actually Eurypterids that have undergone Carcinization over millions of years of survival in the ocean depths.  They're large opportunistic predators and scavengers eating anything within their size range or smaller and can be cannibalistic towards their own young and dead.

Giant Poulpe
Size: 6 meters long
Type: Mollusc
Tales of giant squids can be found worldwide, mingling with the myth of the mighty Kraken but thankfully unrelated.  The Giant Poulpe however is no ordinary squid, as it is actually a surviving family member of the belemnites, cephalopods from the Mesozoic with an internal skeleton within their mantle.  These creatures have excellent camouflage abilities and bioluminescence like firefly squid and cuttlefish and primarily hunt fish and arthropods while in return are hunted by megalodon and whales.

Cadborosaurus
Size: 12 meters long
Type: Reptile
These large marine reptiles are descendants of the Mesozoic plesiosaur lineage.  While they can be found in various locations the world over, they seem to congregate here in the sunken ruins of Atlantis to breed and be tended to by the local Nereids.  They are peaceful piscivores that mean no harm to humans but are extremely shy and elusive due to a natural fear of humanity.

Megalodon
Size: 15 meters long
Type: Shark
These massive sharks are some of the deadly predators of the ocean depths but are thankfully rare, occupying only a few locations across the world's oceans.  The Ruins of Atlantis seem to be a temporary hunting ground for them as they're often driven off by the Nereids who are protecting the pods of Cadborosaurus from predation.  Megalodon feed primarily on large prey such as whales, squid and marine reptiles but if they're struggling to catch food they will make the rare and desperate attempt to attack ships and divers.
