Lips finally parted, and Tails and Cosmo took a quick look at each other. Both had smiles on their faces. They then embraced each other with passion, while slowly floating back up to the surface. Neither showed signs of slowing down.They finally reached the surface, and gasped for air. They held each other tight, and they were so ecstatic.
"Wow, Cosmo," Tails finally said catching his breath, "that was the best."
"I loved it, too, but not quite as much as I love you, Tails." Cosmo responded.
"Oh, Cosmo," Tails was warmed completely, holding Cosmo in his arms, "I love you!"
"I love you, too, Tails; I love you more than I love myself." Cosmo said, in pure honesty and romance.
"You mean more to me than life itself!" Tails responded to Cosmo.
They then enthusiastically met with another passionate kiss as Tails started propelling his tails toward shore. The breeze and waters together felt so very refreshing.
Today was a day neither Tails nor Cosmo will probably never forget for the rest of their young lives!
