Family Series:1(Jason x Reader)
---
[First Day of School]
“Did you pack the lunches?” (Y/n) asked, her eyes still shut as she tried to keep the feeling of sleep just a little bit longer; raising a hand and resting it on Jason’s chest.
“Yes. You get the backpacks ready?” He asked her, gently holding her hand.
“Yeah.” She mumbled. “Jason I don’t want to send them to school.” (Y/n) told him, sitting up to face him in the bed. “That means they’re growing up, and they’re not our babies anymore.”
He looked at her, rubbing his eyes. “Baby, they’re six, they’re still our babies.” He laughed slightly, pulling her into his arms. “Besides, if we want more babies, we can always have more. You know that I would be happy with another.
(Y/n) rolled her eyes, leaning her head on his shoulder. “What are we gonna do if something happens to them today? They get bullied, or someone takes their lunch--”
“The twins are gonna do fine. They’re my kids, remember? They’re not gonna take any shit.” He laughed, kissing her temple softly. “Alex and Mia are some strong kids; they’re gonna be fine.”
She took a deep breath, but nodded. “You’re right. They’ll be fine.”
“I always am right.” He smiled, gently kissing her before the sound of children running down the hall made them pull away.
“Mommy, Daddy you have to get up out of bed! It’s the first day of school!” Alex, their little boy who was almost a spitting image of Jason, yelled as he ran over to (Y/n)’s side of the bed. “Come on Mommy, you said you’d help me pick out my clothes!” He yelled, grabbing her hand and pulling her out of the bed.
“You two go with Mommy, and I’ll get breakfast ready.” Jason smiled, pecking (Y/n)’s cheek as he got out of bed, and walked down the hall to the kitchen.
Mia looked up at her mother, slight tears in her eyes. “Mommy I don’t want to go to school.”
(Y/n) bit her lip. “Alex, go pick out some clothes you want to wear today and I’ll help you when I’m done talking to your sister.” She said, watching her son nod, and go into his room. “Baby why don’t you want to go to school? You were so happy yesterday.”
“I’m really scared.” She said, hugging tightly onto her mothers legs. “I want to stay home with you and Daddy.”
“Daddy and I would love nothing more for you to stay home, but you have to go to school.” (Y/n) sighed, kissing the top of her head. “How about you bring Mr. Bunny to keep you safe?”
“Mr. Bunny can come to school?” The little girl asked, her eyes lighting up at the fact she could bring her favorite stuffed animal to school.
(Y/n) nodded, smiling. “Yes you can. But keep him in your desk, and then leave him in the classroom for lunch and recess, okay?”
“Okay Mommy! I’m gonna get dressed!” She smiled, running off to her room to go get changed.
Jason walked down the hall, smiling as he watched his son run out of his room; fully dressed in his favorite dinosaur shirt. “That looks great Alex. Breakfast is on the table, go start eating.”
“When did we get good at this kind of stuff?” (Y/n) asked, walking instinctively into Jason’s arms.
“Who the hell knows. I don’t think we ever really will get good at this kind of stuff.” He laughed, kissing her quick so they could join their kids at the kitchen table to eat breakfast.
Once both children were fed, and teeth were brushed; it was time to wait outside for the bus--something that Jason was actually concerned about.
“You guys remember your stop, okay? You don’t want to not get off the bus.” Jason said as he carried both their backpacks outside, (Y/n) holding their hands as they waited for the bus.
“We’ll remember.” Mia smiled up at her father. She had her fathers looks, much like her brother, but her personality was all her mother--always attached to Jason, and pretty much always calm.
(Y/n) nodded. “You’ll remember, and we’ll be outside waiting for you to tell us all about your first day of school.”
The large yellow school bus pulled up and (Y/n) could feel the twins slightly grip her hands tighter. “Is that our bus?” Alex asked.
The bus stopped and Jason nodded. “That’s your bus. Be safe, have a great first day.” He smiled, pulling them both in for a hug.
“We’re gonna miss you guys so much. But, you’re going to have so much fun at school!” (Y/n) said, bending down and kissing their cheeks. “You’re gonna make so many friends, and remember to eat your lunch.”
“Okay Mommy.” Mia smiled, grabbing her brothers hand and walking onto the bus.
“We love you! Have a great first day!” Jason yelled, right before the doors of the bus closed. The two could see them waving out the window to them.
“Love you!” (Y/n) yelled, waving back with tears in her eyes as the bus started to drive away. “My babies are starting school.”
He nodded, pulling her tightly into his arms. “I know, they’re growing up.”
“Jason?” (Y/n) asked, looking up at him as they started to walk back to their apartment.
“Yeah Baby?” Looking down at her, he could tell she was going to say something important--just the look she gave him.
“I want to have another baby.”
