I'm not that far in yet, but at the present I have them using the stuff in the picture and then Bow for Fran, Gun for Balthier and spear for Vaan. Trying to buff up Penelo and Fran as my main magic users while Ashe and Basch goes for the heavy hittaz.

I always stick with Vaan,Basch, and Balthier. Only using the others when I'm forced to and for Mist Knack chains.

My party goes: Vaan, Fran, Basch; then Penelo, Ashe, Balthier.
I use neither party more than the other as I level each group up 5 levels, then switch to the other one.
*is at level 70 and still hasn't beaten the final boss who is at level 55 >.>*
