Description
I took this picture on the way to shoot the finish of the race. The race was a mile and seventy yards long so they broke a furlong before the finish and made a full lap giving me a chance to shoot this. This is a view as they hit the first turn looking through the paddock. I can't decide if the man standing there creates interest, and depicts the world of horse racing more accurately or if I would rather him not be there for it to be more....scenic? Anyway I might try this shot again just to see if it looks better without him standing there.Related content

This is one of your best picture yet! You must absolutely love your job. I would. The only thing I dont like about this one (not that I dont like the picture) is that the man is kinda blocking the view... But otherwise this pocture is STUNNING! ^_^

its a nice pic, except i do think that the man is in the way, and you are kinda far for it to really be focused on teh horses. and the little plastic man is kinda creepy lol. Perhaps, if you were to shoot so the plastic dude is facing you along with the horses. Horse butt isnt too pleasant lol. just try to get as close as you can, catch the dirt being pulled up by the horses, make a real action shot

I take action shots for a living my friend, this is not supposed to be an action shot, but more of a scenic shot of the track during a race...not the race itself. Which about a minute and 48 sec later I did shoot. I will be posting an action shot or two soon. And thanks for the comment. I still am struggling with whether the man takes away or adds to the picture.
