Honey had lagged behind in the chase to retrieve puckoos. While other students were darting to and fro, Honey struggled not to develop a migraine. She hadn't realized that in trying to sense the vibration of the tiny waterfowl, she'd pick up on everyone's vibration. It was like everywhere she tried to focus she'd pick up every possible vibration no matter how big or small. She slowly walked down the streets of Wynsiph trying her best to minimize the vibrations she was creating. Even with her slow steps Honey was still overwhelmed by the volume of the vibrations. For a town she had originally thought was quiet, it was sure buzzing with every little movement.

Close to the end of her rope, Honey decided to retreat back to the class and admit defeat, only to run into the biggest vibrations she had felt yet. The sound and waves hitting her all at once startled and nearly blinded her with pain. Looking back up she found a most unusual sight splayed before her. There on the ground lay her old bunk mate Bailey with strings attached to little plastic things, a Rudy who looked just as caught off guard as she was, Alma face down on the stone street, and one of the little blue wynglings she had noticed in the nook lately. She halted at once and tried to asses the situation as Bailey began to laugh nervously, "Guess this was a bad time to drop in?" she joked slowly backing up until she hit Honey's legs. Rudy while having maintained the basket he had been carrying through the crash, quickly dropped it at the sight of his mother on the ground. He shuffled to lift the blue wyngling off her before assisting his mother in getting up.

"If it were anybody else I'd be surprised" Alma grunted glaring at Bailey, "but now that I see this is all you I can't help but wonder why I didn't see this coming". As she straightened herself up with a crack she shook off her sons hands in favor of tending to the blue wyngling who seemed knocked out cold. Alma tried to pick up poor thing only to let out a yelp of pain before straitening herself back out and rubbing her back with her hands. Rudy was quick to pick up the wyngling, "Ma, don't strain yourself!" he cried out, "I'll carry whatever you need back to the nook." he insisted. "Like the basket?" Alma asked observing the fruit she had purchased splattered or rolling on the ground. Rudy let out a nervous laugh, "Oops...well don't worry this is different I'd never drop a wyng-" but before he could finish his thought the wyngling began to slip out of his grasp only to be saved by Alma who proceeded to let out yet another yelp. "I'll take care of her," Alma insisted wincing in pain, "Besides this mess won't clean up itself."

During the commotion Bailey had slowly tried to crawl past Honey, only to get snagged by one of her wings and turned back to face the group. "Don't worry about the mess, Ms. Alma." Honey cooed calmly, "Bailey and I can take care of it" she continued glaring down at Bailey. Bailey sighed with a shrug before Honey continued, "Let your son help you back to the nook and we'll get everything taken care of and locked up here". In too much agony already Alma failed to raise any objection to Honey's offer merely nodding before turning herself slowly back to the nook and beginning her trek back with her son by her side.

Honey sighed before helping Bailey up and beginning the clean up of the fallen produce. Bailey shook herself off before aiding Honey in their task. Midway through Honey decided to give sensing vibrations another try, I mean if she could catch a calamity like that she might as well try for something smaller. The vibration of their work became less and less present as she persisted. In fact she had almost blocked everything out if it hadn't been for a sporadic tapping. "Bailey I know you already did your share of cleaning, but tapping your toes won't make me clean any faster." Honey scolded focusing on wiping up the last of the fruit pulp from the street. "What toes?" Bailey asked staring down at her hooves in confusion. "Your toe--" Honey began turning around only to notice that, not only did Bailey no longer have the toes she remembered, but to see a puckoo pacing around just beyond where Bailey stood.

Trying not to let her frustration and exhaustion from the rest of her day make her feet to heavy, Honey quietly stood up and tip toed her way over to the puckoo. The puckoo had been too busy filling its mouth with fruit pulp from the bin they had been emptying the mess into to notice Honey's approach. Even Bailey was caught off guard when Honey finally lunged catching the puckoo in her paws. "Oh wow Honey, I didn't even notice that puckoo was behind me!" Bailey exclaimed impressed by her friends catch. "Well sometimes you just have to listen to your senses." Honey replied, beginning her triumphant march back to the class.
