One idea I've been throwing around lately is getting into 3D art. I'm looking at youtube tutorials and trying to mess around with it, practice more and maybe get a feel for it. As a sort of glass breaking moment on that idea, maybe in the hopes it'll spur me on further, here's me, officially creating something, in pursuit of that idea. Pretty humble ambition to start off with, but I like to set the bar low. Makes getting to the next step a little easier, I hope.

Actually, even though this thing was stupidly easy to manufacture, I'm still pissed off because I couldn't really get the render to look how I wanted. Messing around with the light and stuff isn't really something I've learned much about yet, so I couldn't really fiddle around with it in a very constructive or enlightened fashion. But whatever. That's just one more thing I'll hopefully get better at.

This probably doesn't mean I'm going to just drop 2D art dead, by the way. But I would like to take this seriously and maybe see where it goes.
