Description
Or 'Claude Le Galle State Portrait'Completed 20/02/2020
"Claude Le Galle, GSY 2266 - 2375
Here pictured is the first Commissary-General, and last Imperator, of the newly formed Sutharian Republic, Claude Le Galle. An architect and logistician from Pychimar City on Shal'Volkova who went on to climb the ranks and become Imperator, eventually democratising the star nation, bringing it more closely into line with its colleagues in the Kimithar Pact."
Portrait of a character from the Kimithar Pact universe, based on a Stellaris campaign, the Sutharian leader of the early-mid 24th Century, Claude Le Galle. Created for a short in-universe biographical book I'm working on with a friend. Quite happy with this one, felt I've improved my lighting and cleanliness a lot lately, and started to use reflective, coloured lighting more effectively- see the blue light on Le Galle's right and the orange on his left. Alongside this, experimented with different textures- the less reflective, flatter doublet thing, to the shiny marble pillar, and the silky coat collar. Overall, a bit of a milestone I think.

For the city in the back (Ilvalce), some screenshots my friend took in City Skylines, of a project based in the same universe.
For the Plumeria flower in Le Galle's hand, as well as the pillar and Cottonwood leaves in the back, some miscellaneous stock images (I can probably find them again somewhere).
