I know I can't do this in real life but I can put it in my painting. : )

I found that Ecoline ink is very ideal for underpainting Because it is very soft and doesn't has granulation effect like watercolor.
And wet in wet effect from color ink is smoother than watercolor.
But one drawback of color ink is all of them have staining effect and cannot be lift off when it's completely dry. ):

i really love the contrast in this one. usually your artwork, while beautiful, seems to all be the same shades of colors. this one, you make a distinct difference between the pale background, the medium tones of the girl, and the darker colors up front in the leaves. also, seeing a profile is very refreshing. and the idea is just adorable
