So... Steven Universe is a show... and gemsonas are a thing...
And I drew gemsonas for myself and my boyfriend because I'm a horrible, stupid little scrub.
Honestly, I don't plan on doing anything with these. it's just like that witchsona thing on tumblr for me--just seemed like a really cute idea to draw the two of us as gems and see what a fusion between the two of us might look like.
I don't know how other people go about deciding on what their gemsona's gem would be (whether it be based on their own personal favorite gem, their birthstone or whatever) but I went the route of picking gems based on their meaning and how they fit into each of our personalities, as well as what our favorite colours are. Albert's gem is a carnelian, which are characterized as being warm, inspiring and indicative of motivation. Carnelian is also worn by people to help them be courageous and... well, he helps me be more outspoken and less scared of things, so... Mine is clintonite which is a gem indicative of self examination and flexibility, mostly because I'm super self-critical.

So we've got a general drawing of what the two of them look like--Clintonite and Carnelian--with a little fusion dance based on swing music because the only other dance I know is either headbanging or skanking (neither of which I think would make a great fusion dance, but might be cool to see), and then a fusion--Vanadinite.
Vanadinite's kind of a representation of what I think we're like together. The gem itself helps with writer's block and organizational skills, promotes a deep internal peace and can help with planning for the future/completing goals. It's also a healing stone and increases energy (and I always feel really revitalized when he comes over, even just from a few seconds).

Again, not really going to do anything with these. Just kinda wanted to draw them because I thought it would be cute.
