The result of some absolutely awful experimentation, these guys carry the genetic code of the #Kalshodar and are equipped with the best weapons and armour their masters can produce but they are a mere shadow of the original. An annoying, persistent, irritating and quite dangerous shadow but a shadow all the same.

Their gauss-coil rifles are designed to hunt Kalshodar, firing metal bolts dense enough and with an electromagnetic signature that can, in theory, disable a reflex field. They are no match for Alexander's best hand-to-hand, their little knives useless against decent armour, so they prefer standoff firefights and ambushes. Their armour is designed to be stealthy and emits almost no signature. The Epibatoi have learned how to fight them, though and can usually bring one down with enough firepower or, in Sgt. Gwydion's case, a good knife wielded with sufficient insanity.

Larger and stronger that normal humans, your average Promethian can reach between eight-and-a-half and nine feet in height, moving a lot faster than someone so large should. Patrolling the Lùndùn Underground, they were terrorising the growing Resistance until Acora's hundred appeared and made it their life goal to eradicate them.
