Doom is the Witch of the Kraken’s Ink, the (former) Princess of Submiso, headmistress of the Omegea School for Witches, and the (current) Supreme Ruler of the Cursed Dimension. Doom is a cold, cruel, and hateful girl who enjoys creating as much evil as she possibly can; despite this, she is generally humorless and no-nonsense. Her family comes from the planet Submiso, the final resting place of the Dread Kraken. Doom is the most powerful Witch among the Jinx and is thus the most powerful Witch in the Cursed Dimension. Despite her pre existing power, she sought out the power of Wraithix, which when powered up enough could let her travel between the two opposite dimensions. She, like the other Jinx, wants to absorb her opposite, Bloom, to boost her already formidable powers to a near ultimate extreme, and allow her to conquer any and all universes. Aside from her power she is tricky and manipulative, and can and will use her enemies’ strengths against them, without using any magic. If manipulation and trickery doesn’t work, she will throw a fit and resolve to harsher and more direct means. As the leader of the Jinx, the others listen and respect her, if only from fear and promises of power. She likes Nisha the best, out of respect for her destroying her planet’s ecosystem just to control the people.

Before Doom, Submiso was very similar to Domino, but with more and darker caves and much longer nights. Years before, Doom’s parents Killian and Jezebel overthrew the original, benevolent king by stealing the power of the Kraken’s Ink from the Ancestral Fairies and banishing him to Oblivion. They ruled Submiso with an iron fist until their daughters, Vicky and Doom, came into the picture. When she was old enough, Vicky began to plot to poison her parents and seize the throne of Submiso; however they caught wind of her plan and cursed her to a skeletal, banshee like form. They sent Doom to another planet where she would not be a threat to their monarchy. Unintentionally, she absorbed the power of the Kraken through the portal. When she grew old enough, and was on her conquest, she helped Vicky overthrow their parents in exchange for Vicky’s loyalty in her regime. With the old tyrants dead and a new and worse tyrant ruling, Submiso has become a mostly dead planet, save for the eldritch monsters that enforce Vicky’s rule.

Doom’s powers come from the Kraken’s Ink; a void-like power that allows her to warp the space, time, and energy around her. She can rip open portals to dark worlds, summon tentacles of darkness, and absorb her enemy’s magic before firing a corrupt version back at them. The Ink also gives her the power to manipulate liquids and shadows as she wishes. With the boosted power of Wraithix, Doom can create light-neutralizing waves of negative energy, summon and control wraiths, and travel between the opposite universes.
