Fauna is the Witch of the Wild, Ruler of Sputarea, and shapeshifting teacher at the Omegea School for witches. Fauna is a crazy, uncontrollable, energetic force of nature who wants to watch nature fight against itself. She is sadistic and cruel, often playing games with her opponents before actually fighting them. While she can transform into any animal, she always retains physical and personality traits of a cat. Her and her family are from the planet Sputarea, a wild jungle of a planet where few survive. She is the second most powerful witch in the Jinx and the most powerful witch from Sputarea. Fauna enjoys using her Wild Magic to turn nature aggressive and uncontrollable, like her, and believes only the strongest should survive. She relies on shapeshifting more than spells, but can cast dangerous and unstable curses that are hard to dodge. She sees life as a game, and she is determined to win. She wants to absorb her opposite, Flora, to remove any resistance to her magic. She gets along best with Recma, due to their mutual wild and unstable personalities.

Before Fauna, Sputarea was a fairly dangerous planet to live on, considering the high levels of Wild Magic. Strong magic users and brave explorers would live on the planet. Originally, Fauna’s parents ruled over Sputarea, until they were overthrown due to their lack of progress to containing the Wild Magic. When her powers developed enough, Fauna spread the Wild Magic as far as she could, making the planet near uninhabitable. She and her family lives in the middle of the chaos, and a dangerous trek awaits those who want to win a favor from her.

Fauna’s powers are the powers of Wild Magic; as a rare individual born with natural control of Wild Magic, Fauna is a formidable and highly dangerous witch. She can shapeshift into any animal, use boosted animal senses, corrupt any living thing with Wild Magic, and control the affected. Aside from the wild magic, she can communicate with animals, and control their minds. She does not have a Wraithix.
