Description
Barbados trotted back to school when he realized he left his book there. He was still sort of debating about participating in Warptide this year, but was leaning on a 'no' as it would be totally embarrassing for him to dress up and go around asking for candy. He'd say to those who asked he just couldn't decide what to dress up as, even though he very much liked the idea of dressing like his favorite book series' main protagonist...but the thought of doing that and other gros SEEING him was just too much to bear.
Barbados found not only his book in the dark classroom, but something shifting around in the darkness. He thought hopefully that it was some stray runeboo or something, but when he saw the gray body as big as he was and the sharp-looking beak, the pink wyngling made a terribly undignified sound (like, "AAIIYEEEE!!!!!!" or something to that effect) and HURLED the large book he was holding right at the lone spite. He shot out of the classroom as fast as he could, his lure flashing in tandem with his racing heart. He didn't look back to see if the Shamble was following or not.
He'll just...get the book tomorrow morning...
