Thanks to the like... Two people who bothered to vote on my poll for a Sonic Frontiers-themed Picture, hope I'm not late to the part just been dealing with some issues. The winner of the poll (by the one and only vote on a choice and not a suggestion)

Sage is a pretty advanced AI but not nearly to the level that Metal Static's is, he is an unbound AI that has been able to evolve without anyone stopping him for years... So if Sage ever had the misfortune to encounter Metal Static in the cyber-realms there wouldn't be much she could do to defend herself from being assimilated and repurposed... Remade in Metal Static's image as a Perfected Subroutine of his own Matrix.
