I finally played Undertale! Every bit of it was amazing, even though I knew most of what would occur. Which is exactly why I want to play it again.

But....

I can't.

I closed out Undertale on my switch, and went back in, only to discover that Flowey had something to say to me. It was a very effective guilt trip, but there was one thing he said that hit harder than the rest.
" Let Frisk be happy."
So many artists or even people that just enjoy Undertale push the blame onto Chara or even Frisk for resetting the timeline or doing Genocide. But, the real villain is the player, which no one can deny. The game refers to the player separately from Frisk, meaning that yes, the player is controlling Frisk. Nothing they do in the game is in their control, save for giving their own name. This is why I can't bring myself to do a True reset, not without immense guilt. Sure, you could argue they're all characters in a video game. But, to me, and so many others, they're more than that.
