Some-years-in-the-future splashpage duel for the SDL, my own Rex against *ShikakuSuika 's little ball of bladed, vengeance-riddled swear-happy fun, Hanabi.Left a lot of it loose. Been feeling art jammy lately. It was fun.

I look at this and much of your other art and can't help but think that a video game needs to be made in order to accommodate this art style. Action drawing! I've been waiting for someone to pull this out of their arsenal. It gets boring seeing people pose after awhile. I love all of the colors you've used and how you've incorporated Hanabi's color scheme into Rex's without making him look like a fruity pansy. I like how the fire is so abstract in its form. I mean, it doesn't even remotely resemble flames aside from the color but it works.

What I love about art like this is when you can see the tablet lines and strokes and the erased parts. Great job btw, lovin' ur art.
