Mail hauberk for my Moria Orc costume.Consists of over 7000 steel rings assembled by hand.
Weight is about 25 pounds.
Rust finish was achieved with a Sophisticated Finishes rusting solution and natural oxidation over a period of about 2 weeks.

Holy cow, this must have been a hard time for you?
You could've created real rust with iron rings, I suppose?
With a bit help of a friend called hydroperoxide you can get amazing rust finishes.

Did you use 12 guage wire and half inch rings? It is quite nicely done!
