flying across the fucking ocean to runaway from your abusive ex and only friends and family that you could go with KNOWING your ex should basically be dead, but deciding you need to be as far away from him as fucking possible. then shes on that island that basically shouldnt exist despite her visions telling her its real. she'd probably think her friends and family hate her for running away, that or she's dead and they shouldn't care about her anymore because they have to run away from the demon dragon that was buried. either way she's on pantala now and shes scared and alone and she doesnt know ANYONE and people are probably thinking shes some sort of deity and shes fucking freaking out "why did i come here again ?? why did i fly away from literally everythign i knew" and wowow theyre actually pretty chill and you live there and one day you start having feelings for girls. what the fuck, she was in love with darkstalker?? she loves girls??? she tries to ignore visions because of what her old crushfriend said about living in the moment and not skipping to the dragon she's destined to be with,,, she dates girls and hmmm its weird and uncomfy and she isn't sure, and then she meets a cute girl named sunstreak. sunstreaks nice understanding caring, unlike the other girls they never tried to ask about where she was from or why she was here now. she let clearsight speak in hypotheticals and never treated her in a godly way for just appearing an knowing the future. but she did treat her well and shit like you should to your girlfriend. at some point sunstreak told clearsight about being trans and was nervous like "oh moons shes nervous about a lot of things hopefully i dont freak her out" but WOW SHE LOVES AND ACCEPTS HER BECAUSE,,, THEYRE BOTH SO VALID,, they get married and shit and love each other so much and one day sunstreak brings up dragonets. aw theyre cute they seem like a nice addition to the family but Hm. that feels uncomfy. Hmm that reminds her of darkstalker a little bit but its fine. sunstreak's nothing like darkstalker. sunstreak's like listener and listens and considers and compromises while darkstalker said he understood. he said he knew exactly what she was thinking all the time but he only heard what he wanted to hear. and twisted her words and stabbed them in her back and acted like she was the one who made everything so awful. god that wasnt a good memory but sunstreak's memories were good!! dates in the flower field, going to get food, walks home during a setting sun, sunstreak was good,,, but she brought it up again. dragonets are cute, what are cute dragonet names?? clearsight's vision became cloudy and she couldnt remember the good things that happened, the jokes and conversations they shared, only the things that reminded her of darkstalker. god, it got so bad she couldn't even look at a dragonet without starting to panic. god damn it she felt so bad, sunstreak wanted dragonets so badly, to have one of their mothers beautiful face, to see them hatch from their eggs and cacoons if thats even what they would do,,, to raise them bring them to and from school and have a happy life. but clearsight was so scared she couldn't differentiate her visions from her thoughts and thought sunstreak would get upset and beg and guilt clearsight into having dragonets. she couldnt have dragonets, she oculdnt be reminded of darkstalker because the more she thought about it the more terrified she became. one day she just had to explain to sunstreak, almost bursting into tears becaues she thought her visions would coem true and she would be guilted into having dragoents with her anyway. she was wrong. sunstreak understood, she wouldnt bring up dragonets on purpose and made sure clearsight was okay. she understood and never pressured her into doing anything (aside from trying this GREAT new meal down the street once and a while). even when other dragons pressured them to see what a "godly hybrid" might look like, clearsight was never pressured into doing anythin. they supported each other and loved each other and went out of their way to make sure they were okay, whether sunstreak wasn't feeling good about her own body or identity or when clearsight got scared everyone she used to care about hated her now. sunstreak and clearsight loved each other so much. there were no prophecies or legends of the nightwing that came to pantala, there was just clearsight who had married sunstreak so long ago. theyre remembered through great nieces or nephews but they were ordinary dragons with their own issues. the books never revolved around clearsight's arrival and past traumas that haunted her for years, only the extinct tribe that was being rumored about.
