Name: Bun-Bun Roo (She/Her)

Subspecies: Cinnamon Roll
Likes: Doing nice things for her friends, gardening, and baking.
Dislikes: Liars, liars, and liars.

Bun-Bun is friendly and trusting to a fault. No many how times she has been hurt, she treats new person she meets as a friend she just hasn't met yet. Some who meet her find her bubbly nature and enthusiastic enjoyment of whatever activity she is currently involved in can be so saccharine that it can feel a bit performative. No one can actually be enjoying cleaning an animal shelter and shoveling dog turds that much, can they? But given time and a listening ear new friends will find that Bun-Bun has adopted her cinnamon roll personality intentionally. Not for performative cuteness. But because as a foster child she moved homes a lot and encountered lots of other foster kids who all had some form of abuse or trauma.

While she is an orphan, she was never abused. Prior to entering the foster system at least. Her parents taught her to deal treat everyone with kindness and compassion, especially those who don't deserve it. Something her mother told her once that she really too to heart is, "Everyone bitter has just tasted nothing but sour for so long they forgot what sweet is. So show them."

So she does. Even if it hurts sometimes. Because why be sour, when you can be sweet instead?
