yeah it is tho. i mean there's very little intreation with the brothers BEFORE Leo gets back, but Mikey and Don always got on so well together but Raph is this angsty big ball of testosterone who explodes when Don tries to have a civil conversation with him.

hehe, yes, Mikey is indeed reading X-men, i believe that the turtles were created as a spoof of the X-men.

Oh man, Raph is such a complex and confusing character, as far as I've figured out and Im probably wrong. Hes raging about the fact their family is messed up up cause Leo left but he sees that its because hes the leader and not because hes their brother. or something like that.

And yeah, they were probably created as a spoof of a lot of things. The turtles becoming so famous was just an added bonus.

yeh, i think he does wanna protect his brothers but he doesn't have what it takes to be a leader and didn't know how to act when Leo went away. he confides easier with sexy ass Casey Jones instead of with his brothers.

it's weird that the whole idea really took off, i think it wasa strength in characters that helped them last for decades.

Yeah, that and their unique personalities yet ability to work so well as a team.

Seriously though there were parts in that movie I did not get first time I watched it. I was expecting a mindless Kids movie.

wha? how many times have you watched it, i just watched it for the forth time yesterday....i think i'll leave it till it comes out on DVD now before i watch it again. but yeah, i needed to watch it that many times cause there are scenes where they're all fighting and you miss out some of the action if you're watching just one.

Same, four times. Same reasons too. Great thing is it didnt get boring as you watched it over. But Im worried if I watch it too many times I'll get fed up with it. So Im gonna leave it for the time being.

same here! but listening to the soundtrack just makes ya wanna see it again, i know that's probably WHY they have soundtracks but what the hell! my dad asked me yesterday if i know it word for word yet....not quite, but scene for scene! dude, who wouldn't i kill to get the storyboards of Raph and Leos fight on the roof....ahhhh gorgeous!!!

yeh but sometimes it just takes the right person to get you in a better mood when you're so mad. i can't stay mad when my closest friends try to make me laugh. it's freeking impossible.
