Been doing a lot of sketches with Bitmap (also known as Windows Paintbrush) and I feel confident enough to share some of these especially since they will serve as the basis for more polished, fully illustrated projects in the future.

For this first time around, here's a working concept I had for The Scarecrow, one of Batman's most feared and popular opponents, incorporating details from the various versions of the supervillain that I've enjoyed.

However, I'm not overly thrilled with the look and might end up just doing my take on Tim Sale's strangely poetic if briefly seen Scarecrow from Batman: The Long Halloween. That comic book-based variation gives off a more nightmare-ethereal feel that I sometimes associate with Scarecrow's fascination and manipulation of people's fears and dreads.
