If things had worked out better, I would have made thirty illustrations based on the most obscure, if not miniscule, of cinematic giant monsters. At least this fellow was fun and equally easy to accomplish.

During one of the animated segments from Godzilla vs Hedorah (1971), the Smog Factory made an appearance, grabbing up surrounding trees with its mechanical claws and growing in size while producing large quantities of air pollutants. Soon after, Hedorah appeared from the sky and ate the smog being produced, sitting on top of the factory and consuming the creature whole. Once the Smog Factory was completely consumed, Hedorah flew away, covering the screen with his own deadly smoke trail.
