I didn't see it... ...I like it... ...At first it seems maybe the different "shapes" cannot fit together, but then... ...the different shapes and, in a way the different styles, found their own world...

Well I'm truly honored by your mania, and your honesty. Thank you and, best of luck now with your computer, I know the frustration all too well.

I like the sharpness up front, with the blur in the background.

beautiful work, nice job blending the acrylics with such short time before drying. Very interesting concept too, intruiging! The only thing I would change since you are welcoming critique, is that the two orbs feel very 2d because of a lack of a "dark side" blended into them, which leaves them flat looking. Even so, I really like this piece Thanks for submitting it Ensomniac!

Hey, I forgot to comment after faving! Silly me! Here's my attempt at a more detailed review of this artwork.
It's a very good work of abstract lines and shapes. I especially enjoy the multi-layered symbolism of the piece.
Here's my humble interpretation of the symbolism.
The the bigger sphere probably represents the plantet Earth with its oceans and continents (water is presented with blue tones of waves, while land with orange and light brown waves), the Moon is placed next to the Blue planet and symbolises the dualism of fate and the unity of opposites (Earth as the life-supporting and the Moon as the deathly and lifeless). The lava-like stairs could represent the path to progress and spiritual advancement, while its colors tell of the dangers of the road ahead. The huge metallic screen or wall may symbolise the cloaking of the truths and that we have just begun to scratch the surface of our potential and of the truths of nature. The colorful vibrant background of the artwork speaks of the multidimensionality of reality and the multiple points of view, all of which play some part in the process known as progress, or further development... the surreal and mystical looks of the overall image create a unique atmosphere, a play of colors and shapes that dances for the goal of revealing bits of the whole, without exposing the whole meaning.
My only critique is to do with the possibility of adding a bit more shapes to the piece, but that's a preference of the artist and is also an often mentioned critique of surreal works, but that's mostly caused by the faerie nature of surreal-abstract art and the tastes of the viewer, not because of the skills of the artist. So, it's just an opinion.
Of course, that's just one way to look at this piece, countless other ways of interpreting it are possible. This is all achieved by the abstract, partially vague and geometric shapes of the piece, that invite the beholder to find his/her own meaning(s) of this work of art.
Overall, I'd rate it as a beautifully executed piece of art that is open to numerous viewer interpretations.
I hope that you enjoyed reading through this short piece of critique.

When I think back to my intentions for this piece, I remember a sense of competitiveness among the elements, and a need to harmonize that feeling. You're interpretation of the sense of mystery is what I hoped for. One point I find most interesting, is that you chose to see the stairs as the road ahead. Thank you very much. Your critiques are always welcome.

Thank you, I chose the smaller orb for the symmetry because the big one was getting all the attention.
