First of all, wow. The color was the very first thing to catch my wandering eye. The dark subject works wonderfully with the lighter back ground. Tinged in the dark people, this work is exquisite. There is almost the appearance that the lock of hair is suspended over a still and quiet body of water. Your photograph tells a story, coupled with the title, I "read" of a mixture of pride and excitement in the new haircut, but perhaps a trading of sorrow for the lost simple vanity that long hair brings. It's a wonderful piece, keep up the great work!
