I've heard they have a time windup now where it takes like 30 seconds before they're fully charged.

I heard it was like 1/5 damage, and it slowly reved up to max over the course of 30 seconds in order to encourage less spam and more evil sick fuckery booby traps.

Well that's better than nothing, the PS3 version never got any updates or patches, so 1 sticky kills everything for miles.
