This is the final version of Alloy's Phantom Ruby power up form, Metal Operator. It uses a huge amount of energy to run, so he only uses it in times of great need unless he's not moving around a lot or is plugged into his power plant. In a combat situation without additional charge, Alloy is only able to maintain the Metal Operator form for 20-30 minutes.
Though the cables coming out of the back of his head are normally rendered as a pair, if you take the covering off, each one is actually composed of several smaller cables. Under duress, he can spread them apart and plug into multiple power sources at once for extra energy. I figure he has a "final fight" version of his design related to that concept, much like how Metal Madness transitions into Metal Overlord in Sonic Heroes, but I haven't figured something out I'm satisfied with yet. Besides, if you're going to see Alloy beasting out, it's gonna' be into this before anything else.
