I absolutely love the blue in her eyes.
The red in the bg on the other hand bothers me... I just plain don't like it even if you're trying to portray a certain mood. I think there are better ways than using the age old: "red = anger/frustration". Try using: R[228] G[190] B[130] instead. TRUST ME ON THIS ONE!
Finally, I think the right side of the pic stands out too much. I love the lighting coming through the blue but it takes your eye's away from the focus of the piece. I think if you blend in the pictures at the top a bit more, it will look a bit better, and try to make some of the stuff discernable. I cant tell what anything is except the woman.
Overall, I like it a lot... but PLEASE change the red.
