I was curious to work on recreating glass, plastic, and other transparent to translucent materials. Like "Aqua" but cooler for Linux.

Bad-ass! I bet this would look GREAT as a desktop background with Conky running styled like the background text.

Very decent.
I might use this as my wall when I get my desktop back [assuming it's big enough to fit my monitor and not look stretched].
