Did you know that Italian is the sixth largest ethnic origin in Canada, at 5% of the population, after German? And Italian is the fourth most spoken "non-official" language.

I can't help it, their character dynamics work so well and it isn't like they don't have relations. xD;

...Anywho, contest was theme: romance. So, I was wondering about a few pairings, and hovering over RomaCana, until my mother decided to seal my decision. By handing me a TOMATO AND [Canadian] MAPLE BACON SANDWICH. [And that was all that was in it.. even though I don't like sandwiches, I ate it because of how awesome it was.]

First thing I thought of after deciding the pairing was Little Italy, of course. Which made me think restaurants. And so, I was trying to think of romance in an Italian restaurant when it hit me. BOOM. LADY AND THE TRAMP.

The pasta scene is one of the cutest//most romantic little scenes of all time so I was like HELLS YES.

And that's how this came along. |B

Although... when I was half way done the line art the first time around my computer screen SUDDENLY TURNED BLACK, WHITE AND YELLOW STRIPED. D: Scared the shit out of me, and the I had to hardboot... so I lost it all. And had to redraw it. Dx ;w;

But yeah.
This is the first time that I've ever giving any sort of [half-assed] background with depth in a deviation, whoa!?

Yeah. Yeah. I don't know what else to say. xD Enjoy?
