Okie, this is an art trade with BlackWolf(FAC aka BlackWolf-Embers of DA). She requested her original characters - Zack and Zora, while I asked for a pic of two of my original characters too. (The finished trade can be found here Len's Trade ) After reading the description BlackWolf sent me, I had a vague picture of it in my mind. Since the lady (Zora) controls mainly the element of water and the gentleman (Zack) has the elements of the darkside, it gives me an impression of a quiet and secure sort of love. (Like those that you don't need the opposite sex to tell you that he/she loves you and you'll still feel secure with that person around type.)

So I went about drawing the concept out and painting it with watercolours, and I got stuck....(Argghhh...hate it when that happens...;_ ...the pic looked rather plain after I did the colouring....I admit...I messed up the work pretty badly and the dark shades were not showing....Thinking that watercolours might not help any further, I left the painting untouched for a few weeks....Until sometime later, when I got rather interested in coloured pencils.

After doing a coloured pencil pic, a sudden thought of applying this medium to the painting came to my mind. Maybe it might help bring in more dark shades! So I got back to work again and finished the pic.

Somehow, the main error that I see in this pic is that the characters don't look like what they are supposed to look like......T_T (And that sounds very bad...)
