The name of this Keyblade is based on a pun on sight seeing and a portmanteau of sight and seer. A seer is a person with supernatural insight and can see what the future holds. In Norse mythology these seers were called Völva (or anglicized as Vala), seeresses who could foretell the future and perform sorcery.
