A male Stegoceras validum, influenced by Saurians Pachycephalosaurus design. If you look on the Saurian Pachycephalosaurus you can see that the dome isn't covered in one huge, continuous mass of keratin, like is shown in virtually all pachycephalosaur depictions. Instead, it's covered in many large, plate-like scales, which to me seems a lot more plausible than the traditional interpretation. Stegoceras was a much smaller relative of Pachycephalosaurus, which is also known from much more complete remains (that's relative when it comes to pachycephalosaurids, most are really only known from cranial remains) The skull of Stegoceras was much more wrinkled and pitted appearance than any known Pachycephalosaurus material, so i've depicted it with much larger scales and scutes on it's dome, to aid in intraspecific combat.
