lol that part always amuses me, it reminds me of that part in Zelda 2 when you rescue the kid from the cave.

Very great artwork.

Ha! I remember this scene from when I played the original on my Super Gameboy. Even then it made me laugh at hilariously inappropriate it was to hear the "Do-de-de-dooo!" like you had won another weapon or prize!

I mean, Link does hold a child he acquires in Zelda 2: Link's Adeventure.

...Though if you wanna get technical about it... [Incomming nerd talk warning.]

In the USA release of Zelda 2, every special item(including the lost child) is picked up and held over Link's head.

This isn't the case for the original Japan release. In order to pick up the special items you find, like the hammer,

you had to 'attack' it. There was no pose or player pause when you did it. In the lost child's case, the sprite is

slightly altered in the USA release. The child appears to wear striped clothing. Those stripes were actually ropes

tied around them in the Japan release, so I assume it made more sense that when you 'attacked' them, you were

actually freeing the child from their bonds. [End nerd talk.]

Anyway, HYLIANS ARE HELLA STRONK, AMIRITE???
