NextI'm not sure he entirely understands how riddles work.
Sorry for the long wait again. Uni is keeping me mega busy- hopefully once I'm off for summer I can blast out some more of these while I have the chance. I can say right now that switching to greyscale was a good choice because oh boy if I'd had to colour this properly I'd have lost all motivation ten minutes in.

Nah I don't know any spanish. The next chapter will probably be a little while- I'm mega busy with uni at the moment. However hopefully during summer I'll be able to get a few more out.

That depends, how good do you want the spanish to be, and do you care if it takes a while?

There's a couple of issues with this really.
For starters, I'd want it to be good, because even if it's made clear that it's a translation, it still represents me, y'know? So it'd be important that it's accurate. And that's difficult because a large amount of the comic's personality and jokes are very colloquialism or pun-based, and those are notoriously hard to translate correctly.
Then there's the issue that as I personally don't know any spanish, nor do I have many friends who are fluent (a couple, but I haven't spoken to them for a while), there'd be no other source for me to verify it against. If it's just one person then there may be mistakes or poorly translated parts.Β
Furthermore, even if it did take a long time, the fact of the matter is that nobody who meets the above criteria is going to be so invested in this story that they'll actually translate all of it. Sure, they might translate a fair amount, and hell they might even reach up to present day. But I highly doubt anyone would be so motivated that they'd devote that much of their time for free, and nor would I ask them to.
There's already been an attempt to translate it into French actually. He got about 30 strips in and stopped. I wasn't particularly surprised; it's just how things like that go.
