Description
I'm taking a chanceI'm scared
but without expressing that fear I can't seem to overcome it.
it's the inches
the number
the mirror
who makes the decision.

wowo, i like this, to me it means what someone sees as "socialy acceptable" or "beautiful" what people do to make themselfs beautiful to others, ie-corset to make her apear thiner....i love it

the softness of her body and its smooth texture contrast the constraint and confinment of the corset wonderfully in this photo. I think the hands work to show the message but what really made it clear to me was the slight wrinkling at the side of the corset and the dramatic shape her body takes. Very beautiful.

The picture very acurately portrays the feeling of being trapped in a corset: trapped in life. Nice work.

Wow...this one really says something. I must add it to my favs. I wish I could take picture of my own back, but thats another story. I find that pictures from behind can be just as interesting as pictures from the front.

What a gorgeous image. I love corsets. They're so feminine and seductive.
The light sepia tone adds a softness to the photo.
A definate .

i've been so busy. with work and stuff. i've had no time for d/a and my watch grew to hideous lengths
i finally managed to catch up. I am so happy this was one of the last pieces in my watch to view...cause i'm leaving it on my page to drool over.
amazing work Heather. as always .. you are too beautiful for words and so is your work

Are there any words existed to describe or comment a piece of yours with?
I assume there aren't, yet still I just couldn't exit this piece without leaving a all over the place.
You've captured the most beautiful and impressive shades I've seen. A corset is always a divine clothing,
but it seems even more than just that.
G o r g e o u s
And I wish I had less lousy words for it.

classicly beauiful . . .
i can feel the struggle:
the tones are wonderful
the hand digging into the shoulder -
the unnatural reach and turn of the arms.

Ok, this is starting to get really irritating.
First of all.. I don't even like that photo by Lithium.
Second of all, the concept, the cropping, the lighting, the outfit... and many other factors are completely different in this piece. His piece is a fetish photo, with her ass hanging out and everything. The position of the arms is completely different. The corset is different. The cropping of anything much below the hips is different from Lithiums...
as well as the positioning of the arms.
This was NOT a fashion photo.
Are you saying that HE was the first one to ever take a picture of a woman's back in a corset?
Why don't you look a little further into things before accusing people.

I'm sorry that you find it 'irritating', and I don't care for the Lithium shot that much either. That being said, there's enough in your shot here to compare it to his, regardless of the 'unyielding emotion and depth' that you assume this shot has. If you didn't want to be irritated, then perhaps you should of said 'no critiques, please'.

How was that critisim?
All you did was post a photo and said "close enough"
that's constructive critisim?
Uh huh, sure.
I can take constructive comments
but not blatent insults of me ripping someone.
