i love the lighting in this photograph, and its a terrific pose, but the most wonderful thing about this is the eagle shape in the negative space between the arms. i saw this picture the first time i was on DA and i've been looking for it ever since!! and it was the bird shape that made it so interesting

I haven't commented on this before so I guess I should. For it is a most original picture. You can only see the clothes but not the flesh. I would totally freak out if I see something like this in my house at night.

the lighting is excellent against the texture and wrinkles of the shirt. the pose completely original. very spunky. i think its a beautiful portrait and you should definitely make available for prints. (as i see you have )

quite an interesting posture......before clicking on the image it looks as if there's no one in the t-shirt i thought you might as well take it all the way and tweak the lighting a little bit so it looks like that heh. but yeah, the hidden face and the excellent use of lighting makes the piece shine.
did somebody mention your expression? haha......it always amuses me what people can come up with when they try to comment. either my monitor is screwed up or some people are just have more imagination than you are cuz i don't think i can see any of your expression but yeah, that "half-covered" face is a brilliant one

Nice Photo indeed, I'm quite surprised no one noticed or mentioned that the shadow where your face is, forms a crow or raven. ... its head created in the shadow were your hands meet, its wing span ending at the elbows, and its tail created where your shirt cuts downward in the center. I keep my main monitor slightly on the darker side, so perhaps it was easier for me to see right away, though I don't have any trouble noticing it on the other screen...
For me, that was the most interesting/intriging part of this photograph. Though the lighting and strange shape of the shirt is great and interesting as well.

why not make available. its a beautiful shot. the textures and lighting are so capturing and setting for a mood. the off centered effect is nice enough to let you focus also on the negative space, giving us depth. Nicely done.

The shirt is my favorite part. Kalayl mentioned that it looks like paper and that's exactly what i thought when i saw it, too. At first i didn't see the body in there and I was wondering how the shirt and pants were staying up but then I was able to see you in the larger shot. LOL A very expressive piece and the black backgrounds sets the tone. ^_^

Pointless? I must disagree. This is one of my favorite shots, ans seeing as it's one you used on your site, you can't have thought it was too pointless to do that.
The expression on your face is the jewel in this photo. Your face, in all of your portraits, is the most expressive, emotional face I have ever seen photographed, and I mean that in all seriousness. You seem to simply project your emotions through the camera.
This portrait says to me, "I give up." It has a feeling of black resignation to it that inspires quite the sense of futility. I like it because it inspires that level of emotional response from me, not neccessarily because it's THAT emotion, of course.

It's definitely a great photograph, that much is for sure. The shirt looks almost like paper, and looks stiff and inflexible. Her half hidden face heightens that expression in her mouth. Nice work (again!!!) !!!
