I'm sorry, but the direction of the eyes is really bothering me. Everything else in this portrait I'm pretty okay with(even the green hair!) but it looks like he's staring quite intently at his own hair, at least with his left eye. For most people at least, their eyes don't track individually, and it looks to me like he's staring straight ahead with his right eye.
Sorry to lob a negative comment at you out of nowhere like this, but I could see this staring back at me from the size of a thumbnail and I felt compelled to say something.
